Thursday, 12th May 2016 from 9.00 to 12.00
On the occasion of the International Womens’ Conference Women Deliver this year in Copenhagen, projekt UDENFOR sends out invitations to a seminar with introductions and debate about the conditions of homeless women.
In Denmark, significantly more homeless men than women are sleeping rough. Nevertheless, the homeless women should have special attention. They are vulnerable both because they are women and homeless and as such, is one of the most marginalized groups in society. They are often heavily disadvantaged when they end up on the streets. They are more unhealthy than homeless men, prostitution is widespread and mortality is high. It is difficult to help them and our knowledge of their situation and needs is scattered and insufficient.
Say your piece on Thursday, 12th May 2016 between 9 and 12 when experts and practitioners share their knowledge and debate the current situation of women living on the streets.
Keep an eye on our website, which will be kept up-to-date!
Registration is possible from 17th March 2016 and you will also be able to see the full programme.
The seminar will take place in Copenhagen.
